ENDURO Lap-A-Thons™ is a fund raising program organized primarily for Elementary School P.E. Programs. The program is very stright-forward. Here’s how it works. - - - There are three parts to each school’s ENDURO Lap-A-Thon™: (1) The fundraiser “Kick-Off Event” at school; (2) The “Lap-A-Thon Event” at school; and, (2) The “Online Fund Raising Campaign”. - First, establish the date for your fundraising “Kick-off Event“ and the actual “Lap-A-Thon Event”. Then, your P.E. Program’s Lap-A-Thon Campaign can be added to the ENDURO USA™ website. (www.endurousa.com) ( - - - Each student will have his/her own Lap-A-Thon Successs Page™ on the ENDURO USA™ website.) (- - - Your school’s Lap-A-Thon Coordinator must provide a spreadsheet to upload each student’s name to the website.) - Information flyers will be prepared (by the ENDURO Lap-A-Thon™ Team) that students can take home to parents. The ENDURO Coordinator for your school will help produce a successful “Lap-A-Thon Kick-off Event” at school. The next day, ENDURO will provide a lively Lap-A-Thon Event at your school that encludes: - marking the course (on the playground or another nearby, suitable area) for the students to complete their laps; - appropriate music that adds a fun atmosphere at the event for the students / parents / faculty and others; - the necessary electronic equipment and supplies so each student’s laps can be counted accurately; - other course markings such as starting line / finish line banners, cones, flagging, etc. As soon as the event (at school) has ended, the ENDURO Lap-A-Thon™ Coordinator for your school will upload the results to the ENDURO USA™ website. Each student’s total laps will then be available on the respective student’s Lap-A-Thon Success Page™. Parents and others can then visit the ENDURO USA™ website --- go to the desired Student Success Page --- make a donation --- and invite other people they know to visit the ENDURO USA™ website and do the same. Summary - - - Students complete their laps - and take home their ? ? ? to encouragage parents to support their Lap-A-Thon Success. ( --- text messages --- social media --- live streaming of event --- etc. ) The day after the Online Lap-A-Thon Campaign is over, $200 is deducted from the total amount donated online, and a check is written to your school for your P.E. Program’s ENDURO Lap-A-Thon Profit.
